So it's almost spring training (see countdown) and here's how the Dodgers' starting rotation, in no particular order, looks like as of right now:












Chad Billingsley
Hiroki Kuroda
Clayton Kershaw
*Jason Schmidt
Ben Sheets - When he's good, he's good, but he's also got a history of injury, and Dodgers already have Schmidt.

Jon Garland - He's got the wins (106), but he's also got that American League ERA (4.90 last year; 4.47 career).

Oliver Perez - Decent lefthanded arm, but at the moment overpriced

Braden Looper - Ex-closer has shown signs of consistency. Enough to give a second look.

Derek Lowe has gone. So has Brad Penny. Schmidt may or may not be back, or he might come back for a little and then have to leave, I don't know, we'll see. Either way, that's still only 3 and a half pitchers. So now what? Let's take a look at who is out on the market:
